Gah, bad parents! You know what grinds my gears? Bad parents!
Yes I've already said it, but I was at the mall today so I had plenty of opportunity to encounter it first-hand. One kid was screeching (reeeeeally loudly) and giggling about it. The mother says to him "please stop [Kid's name], you're going to make me cry" and so the kid giggles and screeches again. Seriously! That was the only threat she was able to come up with!
The child is not in charge! It is the parents who have the authority, and it pisses me off to no end when I see the parents give it up and let the child have their way.

@Glut. I saw the opposite yesterday. Some girl was talking about this toy and the mom totally flipped out saying, "WILL YOU SHUT UP? CHRISTMAS IS ABOUT GIVING SO JUST SHUT YOUR SELFISH LITTLE MOUTH UP!" That's brutal dude.
