A total lunar eclipse will take place on December 20/21, 2010.[2] It will be visible after midnight Eastern Standard Time on December 21 in North and South America... It will be the first total lunar eclipse in nearly 3 years, the last being on February 20, 2008.

Sounds cool. Anyone going to stay up and see it? I'm gonna take pictures if I can. :D

December 20th huh? I think I'll be able to watch that one. Neat.

I can also finally do some research on if/how eclipses affect werewolves. Yay!

Actually it will be midnight when it occurs here. It'll be 2AM for slix. So it should be perhaps 6 or 7 for you?

Apparantly it causes "going into the park and howling a lot". I just checked.

Too bad I'm not going to be around to actually observe how the werewolf in question acts. On nights with a full moon his howling causes me to get a really neat tingly feeling, so I imagine there'd be something special on this night too.
