Although the age requirement in Antarctica and the Arctic is different than everywhere else.

Age requirement is different?? Its 16 over in the UK I think, thats when I got my first job anyway

I was 15 when I got the job I have now, which is a busser at the same place as Slix. I'm not sure what the age requirement here is, but I just know that you have different rules whether you're over or under 16. (Actually pretty much the only rule after 16 is that you can't work when you're in school 'cause duh.)
