How many siblings do you have? Are you an only child? Are you the youngest? Oldest? Middle?

I'm the oldest of 3 siblings. Sure is fun to be a third parent sometimes. :P

I have just one sibling. His name is Diamond and he is 11 years younger than me. Since my name is Pearl, we're a video game pair! ...I suggested his name to our parents when they were discussing what to name him, but I didn't think they'd actually go through with it. Because of our large age gap, he'll be my little teddy bear no matter how old he is.

That’s really cool I like the subtle name play! I don’t think my parents would listen to me if I ever suggested something like that about my brother. They can be traditional with names they are the type of people to only change one or two letters to make it different and “unique” :P

Thanks, Crashinggg! My parents were looking for a gem name to begin with, so I got pretty lucky. :) Changing a few letters still makes a person stand out. It might be difficult for others to spell though.

No problem! Oh yeah you made it simple for them in a way haha that's good! It can be yes not a lot of people understand it, especially my sisters name it is spelled Anne and it is supposed to be pronounced A-Knee, even though they did not include the i after the n's. :P so explaining that is hard. My name is spelled different, but not difficult to explain it is just Alexandrea instead of the usual Alexandria, so just a simple letter switch. Our names have gotten me into some good conversations though so that's nice.
