This is based off the discussion the people on the forums who know each other had today before school and during lunch. Pointless, but cool. I say no.

Yes! They can! Fish move their heads different directions than their bodies, and they also flop their heads when flopping around on land.

No they can't! Their bodies move, which in turn, moves the head. They don't have a neck so they can't move their head! Jeez! XD

XD That was good. I'm not convinced that was real though. They must have used magic.

I voted for no. I believe that they can't. This reminded me to feed my fish today xD

I don't think they can either, well not fully. They move their body which moves their head :) After catching, gutting and taking the head off shows a bone structure in which the fish does has restricted movement of the head.

They can't look up or down BUT they can look from side to side very slightly. I don't know if this is enough movement to warrant that they can move their head.

Also they have their eyes of the side of their head so they can see everything around them, this is an evolutionary state because they have restricted head movement :)

OH YES NERD IN THE BUILDING :')

Actually the eyes on the side of their head is not due to restricted head movement but because they are prey so their eyes need to look at their surrounding while predators eyes are in front to focus on prey.

DOUBLE NERD IN THE HIZ HOUSE U JUST GOT SERVED.
