I bought a huge pack of about 30 mechanical pencils today in preparation for note-taking in lectures.
Although honestly I'll probably end up taking notes on my laptop more likely.
The pencils can still be used for drawing though.

Pencils. With pen I have the tendency to get sloppy due to the inability to erase. Or in the case of a marker type pen depending on how fresh the ink is, the movement of my hand can make said type of ink splatter in between letters.
