So you haven't read the last few books? They are so good! I'm re-reading them now. I think I'm on Erak's ransom (I don't remember which one is which). I think there are like 10 books out now.

Yeah I saw 10 2 weeks ago at Borders. Didn't get it though.

Nope, I own them but haven't read them. :P After book 4 there was a time skip and Will is no longer Halt's apprentice so I was kinda sad. Especially when I found out from a friend that in one of the later books that Halt gets a new apprentice. I don't know, I find change depressing. It's still a great series though. I'll get to finishing it some time. :D

Yeah, but then it jumps backward again! Lol it's out of order for some reason. But I think you were misinformed- halt doesn't get a new apprentice.

Oh really? I could have sworn I read somewhere that Halt picks up a new kid. I must be going crazy :P

I have a month left before school. Maybe I should start reading it again :P

Wondering how I missed this thread before...

I'd say Harry Potter for obvious nostalgia reasons... I enjoy flipping through Twitterature fairly often... I am a great fan of Christopher Hitchens, in particular Hitch-22 and god Is Not Great... and my all-time favorite is Kingsley Amis's Lucky Jim, which is almost unique among books in never failing to make me laugh.

Manga as a genre, it's all I read. Bakuman is currently my favorite series.

Memiors of a geisha, the leviathan trilogy, the uglies saga, the fallen saga, steve jobs biography, neverwhere, and Gregor the Overlander series.

And I read pretty much all of those except for gregor my senior year of high school lol.

And if I included manga...

Yotsuba, Hellsing, Pandora Hearts, Crimson Shell, Maid-Sama, Stepping on Roses, Read or Dream, and Yazakura Quartet.

Aha! Finally figured out where I knew your avvy from.

Personally I haven't enjoyed reading much lately. Last thing I read was part 2 of the Icewind Dale trilogy.

The Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer
His Dark Materials (The Golden Compass trilogy) by Phillip Pullman
Harry Potter by J.K Rowling
Blue Bloods (series) by Melissa De La Cruz
Vampire Kisses (Series) by Ellen Schreiber
A Discovery of Witches (Trilogy, but I have yet to read the second two because the second one comes out this summer) by Deborah Harkness
Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen
Can't Get There from Here by Todd Strasser

I am almost out of reading material once I am finished with the book I am working on now, which won't take long. So any suggestions would be welcome.
