Oddly enough I've been told that series is over-hyped garbage.

...I think if I ever get around to reading it I'll borrow the first book. See if I'm a fan of the writing or not.

I've had THG for a while and I've always wanted to read it, but I've felt put off by it because of the fans screaming like little girls over the movie.

Anyway, reading Celebrity in Death by J.D. Robb

Well, honestly I hate reading, but this is a book I'm pretty sure anyone would like... As long as they aren't being forced to read it by screaming, crazy fans...

^This. Facebook has been exasperating; not a day has gone by without someone posting a picture from the movie on a friends wall captioned 23 DAYSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! and six comments all along the lines of "oh my godddddd I'm so excited I'm gonna die!" And we're doing to have to put up with this for two more movies...

Well, nonetheless, I just finished The Missionary Position: Mother Teresa in Theory and Practice by Christopher Hitchens, and am in the market for another book. Any suggestions?

I'm thinking realistic fiction, I haven't been enjoying fantasy as much lately...
