Yeah, but you could still use the old ones. Whenever 1.6 comes out we'll be totally dependent on non-buggers.

I just tried a demo of Minecraft and loved it, so I'm going to be getting it.
I just signed up for Paypal in order to buy it, and they still need to confirm my account. Hopefully I'll have it in the next 2 or 3 days.
...And then I'm going to build an awesome witch's lair for myself.

Hey Guys smeel here.
At the moment Jolt and I are attempting to make a minecraft server. We are close to making a server for all of us yet there are some problems at the moment. Hopefully we can get through the kinks and have it up and running. However, you will need to Download Hamachi 1.0.3.0 for a full connection.

I own Minecraft now, as of a few days ago actually.
I'm doing pretty well, having built a thriving home base that spans several treetops in a swampland biome. I also hit a decently sized diamond vein deep in my quarry. I uncovered a carvern down there that I'm pretty sure has a dungeon spawning skeletons. I sealed it off since Skeletons are a pain to fight.
Most recently I built a portal to the nether. The seed I'm using had a small above-ground lava lake right beside the swamp and very close to my initial spawn point, and I was able to make obsidian and then later mine it once I hit diamond. I haven't really made progress into the nether though. Ghasts are creepy.

Have been building my newest base on an island chain. The entire place is lit up with torches, and yet I keep finding hostile mobs swimming at me. Finally figured out why.
Turns out there's a massive undersea ravine right beside my island. I'm kind of scared to explore it...

Here's a site for you guys: http://www.minecraftaddicts.com
The server address is: server.minecraftaddicts.com
The four main areas are: Build, Creative, Survival (PvE and PvP), and Nether.
Personally I'm a builder, it's an area with no hostile mobs and no chance of death (other than suffication). There is an economy, you must gather your resources to build whatever it is you want (you can apply for a plot of land on the forums). Personally I have some land and a few projects in mind, I have started working on Viridian Forest. Creative is only available to people who donate, you can basically build whatever, wherever. In Survival you have your basic PvE MPS and some Anarchy PvP, you can and will die in this area obviously. Finally Nether, I know nothing about it. There is also a place called Historic, this is where the old server was, the land is all taken up by old members and it's rules are the same as building ones.

How big is the server do you know? I have a decent computer and internet connection so the quality would depend on how big the server is and how well it runs.
