I got bored and dug up Ruby. Let's see how I do in a Nuzlocke challenge, I haven't played this version for a while.

Skipper

My starter was mudkip as you can see. Now as for the rules, I'll go with the traditional:

- Can only catch the first Pokemon you encounter on a route.
- If a Pokemon faints, release it.
- All caught Pokemon must be nicknamed so you feel worse if you lose them.

Aaaaaaand Skipper's dead.

That was fast.

But I got a replacement before he went down. Meet Anya the Ralts!

As I walked out onto Route 102 I thought "It'd be cool to find a Ralts, but there's no way it'll actually happ-OMG YAY A RALTS!!! "

Then I got careless against a Seedot. Didn't notice it was using Bide, and that spelled the end of Skipper. Anya only knew growl when Skip went down, but I snuck around the remaining trainers and walked into the grass on Route 104 on the other side of Petalburg. I found a Wingull, started whipping Pokeballs at it, and the end result was Myst joining the team. Now thanks to Myst, Anya knows confusion and both of them are decently levelled.

This sounds cool, maybe I'll start one of these soon...

Lost Myst against Roxanne's Nosepass, but I picked up a new Pokemon in the woods. I got a Tentacool I named Capital in Dewford but lost it to a critical hit after a few levels, and before facing Brawley I cut ahead to Slateport and caught the current third member of my team.

I delayed Norse's evolution for one level. At 19 he'll learn Faint Attack and then I'll let him evolve. And I think Hood's gonna become a Vileplume. Something about a male Bellossom just seems wrong to me.

Now I'm training the up the team before facing Brawley.

I'm done playing for today, so here's the updated full team of 6!

Vega and Alabaster are very new. Nova got caught almost immediately after the previous update. Of the two newest ones, obviously Alabaster got trained first. Vega needs some work to catch up.
