So I got past the Elite Four in my Sapphire, and need Latias for my Dex on Diamond, but I have yet to find it running around... after about 80 super repels and lots of time wasted. I'm sure I'm doing it right, but has anyone had any similar frustration or issues with these Pokemon running around in Ruby or Sapphire?

It's best to just do something else and hope you'll find it by accident. That's generally what happens.

I agree with Glut, as that was what happened to me...

I also just happened upon them, but if you stand at the border of a route and go back and forth, Latias will move each time you change routes. It's easier in DP when you don't have to open up the Pokedex and check their area, but there you are.

CHAZE used A BIT OF PROPER GRAMMER! It doesn't affect wild SNEAKACHU...
SMEEL used SHOTGUN! Critical Hit!
SLIX used CHARM! A wild BABE appeared!
STONE used MY LITTLE PONY! It's super effective!
AQUIL used RIBS! Foe WORLD fainted!
A wild GLUTTONY appeared! PIRATICE fainted!
A wild OC appeared! POLIWAGER fainted!

I know that, but I couldn't find too many routes where that's easy to do. :/

Routes 213 and 222 are your best bets for routes to move back and forth between in Sinnoh.

(For those not in-the-know those are the two routes directly west of Sunnyshore City)

Hm. Just off of memory I'd say those two routes west of Lilycove, but there might be somewhere better.

Ah, my mistake.

In that case I'd suggest Routes 120 and 121 (the same two routes west of Lilycove that Jolteon suggested).
