I guess I was just expecting something new after the game, aside from the Battle Maison, but it just felt like a letdown of a game. X and Y even had more post-game things than ORAS, like the Friend Safari.

Anyone else feel the same as me?

I agree, ORAS is a good game, but it's really only superior to the GBA games by being 3D.
Honestly, if you don't have a 3DS and you're not interested in online battles, buy Emerald on ebay.
