I already shared this idea with slix and he seemed to like it, so I want to see what you guys think of it.
In the event where someone is going to be banned. How about we take this to poliwager court and allow them a fair trial to see if they can come up with enough evidence and legitimate reason to prevent their banning. Admin is the presiding judge and all mods are jury. While the members and if desired even the mods can present evidence to why said person should be banned. However, in the case where the offences are extreme. Slix has the right to instantly ban them. Whaddya think?

It's a good idea, but should be done via PMs.

Don't like this idea at all. The idea of over dramatizing a person being banned is a childish thing to do. If the person is supposed to be banned or warned then he/she should get it no exceptions. If you bring more people into it than just a admin or a mod then why should that person ever come back? Maybe he/she wants to try again and not piss anyone off.

@Pira well of course. Using posts would be a bit spammy
@Choco hmm that is a very intellectual rebuttal. And to be honest you're right there.

And you didn't think of that yourself, smeel? Fail. I was thinking of it but was being polite. I mean we give warnings before ban unless its a instant ban so the person should know. If they don't care enough to defend themselves or change their behavior, they shouldn't be here anyway

Yeah, I'll still pop by. But because of sports and school, I've been getting home at 9 recently so I couldn't stop by everyday...

I know the feeling OC... I'm on the verge of a breakdown due to work etc.
Regarding the court... in all fairness it is a good idea, but in the wrong environment, for example it would have suited an online game more than an online forum. If you know what I mean.
I feel it wouldn't work and as such shouldn't be implemented ... However although I don't think the idea will work doesn't mean it won't prove me wrong.
I feel that if we are to be sure as to whether it would work or not, we should implement it for the next 1-2 bannings that may happen. This will give us a clear idea of how it could be:
A) adapted to work
B) its efficiency and effectiveness to stopping rule breakers.
