Manga Anyone?

It's easy to get lost in a good book. When you're taking a break from reading, post about it here!

What do you guys read manga wise? Or what have you read if the series has ended?

Currently focused on Bakuman personally, up to chapter 167 and every chapter is ending in so much suspense it's killing me.

Death Note by the same duo is my favorite completed one, I like Tsugumi Ohba's works on paper more than in anime form for some reason. Well it could also be Takeshi Obata's art that I like more on paper, not even remotely sure but both are amazing mangaka.

Let's see... This is what I own:
- 1 volume of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Ginji's Rescue Team (this being the only volume of that)
- 2 volumes of Pokemon Diamond Pearl and Platinum
- 2 volumes of Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei
- 3 volumes of Bakuman
- 4 volumes of Muhyo and Roji's Bureau of Supernatural Investigation
- 4 volumes of Ultimo
- 4 volumes of One Piece
- 4 volumes of WaqWaq (that's the whole series)
- 5 volumes of Yugioh GX
- 6 volumes of Death Note
- 7 volumes of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Adventures
- 7 volumes of Tegami Bachi
- 10 volumes of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle
- 14 volumes of Pokemon Adventures (These volumes go to the end of the GSC chapters, Pokemon Diamond Pearl and Platinum is technically the same story)
- 47 volumes of Naruto

And I've completely read Fullmetal Alchemist (the original manga), Cardcaptor Sakura, Prince of Tennis, Whistle!, Gash Bell, MAR, Pretty Face, and 666 Satan (AKA O-Parts Hunter).

The worst part of owning that many, well for me anyway, is that I want to collect all of them for every series I own and it takes a toll on the wallet. Usually I have to order them off of Amazon because the bookstore here doesn't carry most of what I need, usually carrying only the first 3 and then the more recent volumes of the longer series' tankobons. Sadly Death Note is the only series I have completed thus far, also having every released english volume of Bakuman and a few issues of many different series'.

Looks like you're relatively close to having all of the Naruto volumes that have been released, they're on 59 or something now I think?

Yeah. That's still over a hundred bucks just to catch up with one series though, and the series was supposed to be done at volume 53, which annoys me (The author commented a long time ago that Naruto was going to have 500 chapters exactly, which he's exceeded by a lot at this point).

*cough* Um... This is a manga discussion here wolf. You may be better off going to a general literature topic of some sort with those books.

I don't have many Manga, am too poor and lazy for buying, durr. But still I DO have some. Those being all 13 from Death Note, all up to seven from Letter Bee, one from One Piece, one from Naruto, one from Vampire Knight, five from Pokémon Adventures, soon the first one from Hetalia (which is coming out on 12th March in Germany) and... uhm, don't know. So, as you can see, not many. And I'm always too lazy to buy the other volumes, especially from so long series like Naruto etc. Because then I have to order them and that's stupid. xD
Moooooh.~

Yeah, I read most of it online before the tankobons come out, but I buy the good ones for collection purposes. Not sure how may full series' I've read, I'm more of an anime person for the most part, watched lots of them fully through. I recommend Bakuman to everyone because it's the greatest, read it!
