Shiny Hunting in Pokemon FireRed

Hey I am wanting to know what are good shiny hunts in Pokemon FIreRed so I'm going to run several polls based on what I can and want to obtain!

Here are the different methods of hunting I am willing to try:

As far as speed goes, I think random encounters in FireRed is fastest, since it doesn't require any down time for resetting, and there aren't any odds increases in the 3rd gen games. 1/8192 baby!

I have only had 2 RE encounter shinies and I think that might be pretty quick, too since there are no extra animations unlike the newer games where it would be frustrating to RE hunt.

I really want to go for Soft-resetting for the legendary bird trio but I am not set to be doing that just yet. Also I might want to reset for a shiny Eevee if there is still the one you get in the game around somewhere.

Ah, yeah, Eevee would be neat. You can get it in the Celadon building where the Tea is, but you enter from the back of the building. You'd have to look it up though to see if it can indeed be shiny when soft resetting that though to be sure.
