Pokemon GO: Adventure Sync

I know not everyone has it yet, but I will be getting this in the next wave of trainer levels so woo!!

For those who do not know Activity Sync is a new feature that allows trainers to still hatch eggs and get distance while the game is idle! That means that we will now be able to 'play' in the background when we forget to turn the game on, it will work with your phones BUILT IN activity app to keep track of how far you walk and use that information to count towards distance in the game.

Has anyone been able to explore this yet! Do other activities besides walking count like biking, treadmilling or ellipticalling :P etc? I am really hyped for this and I am so glad that the game is becoming what most people thought it would be like with this new feature. :poliwrath: :poliwrath: :poliwrath:

I've been trying it out since yesterday, and so far it's working pretty good! I hatched a 5km egg walking around at work today, with the game closed! I did some exercise biking yesterday and it seemed to count some of that activity, so I'm not sure exactly what's counted and what isn't yet.

I'm so glad this is here now, it was exactly what I was hoping the game would do when it was launched.

Yay that’s so awesome! I hope people have fun testing it out and are more encouraged to get up and about to move even if they can not go outside that they hop on a bike and get moving for their eggs regardless.

I have had adventure sync on for a while and it is amazing. I have been able to hatch a lot more eggs and I have been able to level up my Alolan Rattata into a Raticate (She is my buddy pokemon) because of all the candies I have gotten. believe it or not there aren't a lot of rattatas that pop up around where I live so it was kind of hard to find candies for her.
