Recruiting Them All

Today I start the journey of recruiting all pokemon possible in Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Darkness. The plan is to basically have a living dex. I'm going to attempt to recruit every pokemon and all of its evolutionary stages. That means sometimes I'll have to recruit the same pokemon a few times and then evolve some of them to keep their full evolution line. This is just a side project I plan on doing when I'm bored so don't expect me to finish this soon. Posted below you can see every pokemon I have obtained so far just from completing the game. This is the last achievement I need to finish before completely finishing all the content in this game. I hope you'll have a good time watching my journey to recruit them all

This seems too difficult and time consuming.

Wow, what a goal! I wish you the best of luck. I might try this when Rescue Team DX comes out!

My first move is to get Cresselia to level 100 for the +24.5% recruitment boost. Then get the Golden Mask for another +20.1% recruitment boost. The reason I picked Cresselia is because she is in the IQ group H which gets the "Fast Friend" skill which is another 5% recruitment boost. One of the pokemon I would eventually need to recruit is Kecleon which has a -49.5% recruitment rate. The only way to even get the chance to recruit Kecleon would be to have a pokemon from the H or B IQ group, a Golden Mask, and be level 99-100 and even with all those boosts its still a 0.1% chance to recruit them. Not only that, to encounter Kecleon you need to find a dungeon that has a Kecleon shop in it and steal an item. After you've done that Kecleon will then become aggressive and attack you and your partners. Once you have enraged Kecleon you can no longer use an Escape Orb to leave the dungeon or any other tricks besides using the stairs. To make matters even worse more Kecleon will start spawning very fast all over the floor and they hit extremely hard and have very high defensive stats. All in all this will by far be the most challenging pokemon to recruit but at the same time be the most impressive in my opinion.

Oh yeah.
That guy.
I did not know about all of these hidden stats.
But I do remember i stole from him, (not on purpose)
And he absolutely destroyed me.
