So I’m starting PokePark one again (even tho I’m supposed to be doing a Diamond Nuzlocke right now). I haven’t played this in YEARS. Literally the last time I played it was when I got it which was back around when it first came out. Back then I really liked it but years has past so thing could change.

So far I’m on the title screen and the music is amazing. Hopefully the rest of the game is good.

Well personally I never played it. But since pokemon spin offs are usually better then the real games, unless it's mobile. You should have a good time!! So I hope you have fun!

How's your playthrough going so far? I've heard of the game and seen clips of it, but don't know much about it. What game can you compare it to the most when it comes to spin-off Pokemon games?

Going good. Haven’t played it in a few days. Been busy.

So far I’ve completed the first area and I believe best friended all the Pokémon that I can find there. I even got all the bonuses in the mini games with the friends I could play with currently. I made it to the hub world base thing that connects to all the areas. I got a lot of berries so I maxed out my Thunderbolt upgrades. Next area will be the beach I believe.

Also I unloaded all the password bonuses.

The game reminds me of Mystery Dunegon due to there being no humans and all the Pokémon seem to live and work together and somehow build things, but the gameplay is totally different. It’s like an semi open world game and you can roam and explore each area. The main part of the game is the mini games either by challenging Pokémon to a game to befriend them or attractions to win berries. It’s a pretty fun game. Kinda easy. A few hard parts but the game is not bad. Being kinda easy tho makes the game kinda slow because you beat all the mini games so fast that you’re mainly just exploring, but running to different areas and searching for Pokémon takes forever. The world is pretty big and Pikachu is kinda slow.
Slower than my water Buffalo. aWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Anyways it’s definitely a more casual game and it’s very cute, so if you’re into that you’d like it.
