@momoapplegirl I agree with you mudkip is the best starter of the three.
But only the second best starter of all existence.
It has a very fun typing!
And its mega evolution is cool!
But I still prefer the squirtle line.

I had picked Omega Ruby and I chose Treeko, but I didn't actually use him on my League Team since I got a Japanese Torchic through wonder trade. I admit that I only bred it for the Pokedex but I actually enjoyed using him so much I've considered using him in my Sapphire playthrough as well as possibly getting him from Steven in SoulSilver... Both him and Mudkip I would hesitate to pick between, I only like Treeko because of Grovyle from Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky...
Been a fan since Pokemon Yellow and my heart always belonged in Sinnoh.
