Megas do not count toward the Mewtwo battle. So it would not be eligible.

Would you rather be stuck in a really strong wave pool alone for 1 hour (you cannot get out until that hour is over, the only thing you can hang onto is a floaty or railing) or stuck on a scary roller coaster for 1 hour that is never the same and goes really high up?
