Luv is definitely not someone you want to compare yourself to in terms of shiny hunting. It'll just make you feel bad.
And most of my shinies so far have come from early eggs, so I'm getting them more through luck than any sort of skill.

Problem with only wanting a male of something is that it seems to be a curse to get a female...
Yeah, I don't really go on GPX much anymore. Busy with school and hockey and stuff, so not much free time anymore.

I was lucky enough to get male shiny Ralts, for Gallade, and male shiny Burmy, for Mothim, though. Perhaps I'll be lucky again when I hunt for Pidove. ^_^
(I admit I never click these days, I just leave eggs in my party, come on once in a while to hatch them and grab some new ones, and that's about it. I've still gotten a few shinies with that method.)
--Edit: Speaking of success, shiny Klink! It hatched on the 449th egg, so no Persistent achievement for me this time, but that's okay. Shiny Klink!
