Hmmm... Ralts is cool, but I think I mostly like the Abra family and Aerodactyl.

I dislike the Abra family because of how Kadabra evolves in Alakazam. When I was small I really, really, badly wanted Alakazam but until the DS era it was impossible for me since no one around me had a GBA to trade with. Thus I've grown to hate them and pretty much any line that requires trading to evolve. xP

I get that. I also desperately wanted an Alakazam, but I had nobody to trade with. So, I went for Mewtwo instead. I felt all better.

I know! That's exactly how I felt, but I still think the Abra family is awesome. I never got to catch MewTwo in my game, maybe I should try... but I thought it was totally unfair that my rival got an Alakazam and I was stuck with my totally awesome Kadabra!

Your rival's team is programmed to be awesome, so of course he gets a trade evolution that shouldn't be possible for an NPC to obtain.

I've never had the need to use a psychic type before Gen III and since then, I've always preferred Gardevoir. The (somewhat recently) added Fairy type only made it better. xD

Gardevoir is awesome. I would rather use it than Alakazam, even though I think Alakazam is better.

Nah, Gardevoir's arguably more useful now with the Fairy typing.

I don't have Gen. 6, so Alakazam is still useful.
