I guess.
As for the wand information, I've got a Hazel wand with Unicorn Hair 10" unyielding flexibility. Here's something that all shares in common:
Hazel: "is so devoted to its owner that it often ‘wilts’ (which is to say, it expels all its magic and refuses to perform, often necessitating the extraction of the core and its insertion into another casing, if the wand is still required) at the end of its master’s life (if the core is unicorn hair, however, there is no hope; the wand will almost certainly have ‘died’)." -From Pottermore.
Unicorn: "They are the most faithful of all wands..." -Again, from Pottermore
10": Actually doesn't really affect the way the wand works. -From Me, who read the Pottermore entries.
Unyielding: It doesn't like to change its user.
Basically, nobody can steal my wand because it'd either explode, severely injure the "taker," or both.

My wand is Laurel wood, 12 and 1/2 inches in length, with a dragon heartstring core, and pliant flexibility.
NO one can take my wand either, because a laurel wand "...indeed has the unusual and engaging attribute of issuing a spontaneous lightning strike if another witch or wizard attempts to steal it."
And with the Dragon heartstring core, "As a rule, dragon heartstrings produce wands with the most power, and which are capable of the most flamboyant spells. Dragon wands tend to learn more quickly than other types. While they can change allegiance if won from their original master, they always bond strongly with the current owner."
