SV Masuda Method Shiny Race 1

Welcome to the SV Masuda Method Shiny Race 1!

In this race the goal is to get the target shiny before anyone else (including me).
Runner ups will also be mentioned so feel free to continue hunting while the event is active.

This will be a Masuda Method hunt, so you need to hatch the shiny to qualify. The shiny charm is allowed.

The target Pokémon is shiny Nymble!

The race will last for one week from January 20th to January 26.
Starts at midnight and ends on midnight of January 27 (Poliwager Time).

If you would like to participate comment below and feel free to recommend Pokémon for future races.

UPDATE: Winner gets a free Fakemon Sprite drawn by me! Can be like a Novelty or an original Fakemon!
Note: There is no promise it will be added to Poliwager

Ooh. Maybe I can actually try my hand at Masuda in Scarlet. I don't have the shiny charm. What sandwiches are recommended? Also, does this game have a counter anywhere in game for how many eggs you've hatched, like Black 2/White 2 and the gen 4 games have?

I'll try it out!

Best sandwich is #17 Great Peanut Butter Sandwich. Just butter, peanut butter, and banana for Lv.2 Egg Power which increases egg generation in the basket WHICH is heavily required to do the hunt cause you get virtually no eggs without it.

Don’t believe it has a counter. I just hatch eggs and when my boxes are close to full I count them up and release all the non shinys.

Well, it appears I am the winner if no one else got one yet! 36 eggs only for mine to shine! I'll let someone else claim the prize Novarius is offering if someone else gets it next though.

The winner of the shiny race is… Me!
I hatched a shiny Nymble on the first day after only 36 eggs but decided to keep it a secret cause I wanted people stay motivated plus I wanted someone else to win.

The actual winner is Slix after surprisingly also getting it after only 36 eggs! But he has so kindly decided to pass the prize onto the next person!

So the GRAND PRIZE WINNER is Fiiyve!
