Library Secrets

It is currently National Library Week!!

I love the library and I know that they have wonderful resources at our local one and I encourage you all to go check out your local libraries.

Ten Reasons why I love libraries:
1. They have more then books! From movies and cd's to some household items or instruments your library might have more than you realize
2. Some libraries are connected to apps like Libby or hoopla that allows you to get audiobook access for free with your library card
3. They have fun like crafting groups to puzzle, or 3d printing, and movie nights.
4. They are often a safe space for the teens and that is important.
5. I mean come on. Free books.
6. They help people get access to technology they might not have at home.
7. Everyone belongs at the library.
8. They bring communities together.
10. Libraries can be a wonderful resource that helps people learn about different cultures through events like drum circles, or bringing awareness to mental health struggles and breaking the stigma.

Go out and get yourself a library card!!
