I have watched baking shows since I was younger and I would regularly watch Sandra Lee like my life depended on it and then I would pretend like I was on the Food Network every time I would cook. Well now I have just started re watching some of the Cake Wars episodes from 2015. They have had a lot of cool cakes for The Simpsons, Super Mario Maker cakes and Kung Fu Panda for different events and it has been really cool to see those things come to life in cake. I also recently discovered that you can find the recipes for the winning cakes and I think I will have to try to make one when I have the patience.
The grossest one I am currently watching and they have to make cakes for an Ocean themed event and they have to add a choice of seafood into their cake and that is diabolical.
