What I am going to start doing is just do the same number everyday. That way it is sure to be it sometime, you know?

It's actually not guaranteed. In fact it's no more likely than just picking numbers completely at random.

The advantage to always picking the same number comes up more when you know what the answer is actually getting it wrong. Then you don't think "aw man, that's the one I picked yesterday".

It's really just a confidence issue.
