You mean windows 8? Because yeah, that's terrible in general. Regardless if it's phones, consoles, or computers. My computer has to run windows 8 due to a port only being unable to run on any OS lower than 8. It's awful, and memory hungry. Which is terrible that they'd even place it on phones because windows 8 force updates and takes up a lot of memory.

Yeah my laptop is currently running 8.1 and I cant stand it. Whats wrong with a simple desktop like 7.

I'm hoping to save up and get an android soon. As for OS, I'm really hoping 10 doesn't blow. That free upgrade sounds wonderful right now. By the way, congratulations for successfully updating to 8.1. There are many people that have had issues trying to upgrade. From the simple "failure to update" to nearly ruining the computer.

Just my luck My desktop was built a few years ago when XP was in its prime
so it was time I upgraded -

Yes I must admit 7 was good and was the best one of the latest batch but windows 8 is terrible.
