Hey everyone! So I talked about doing a Nuzlocke challenge in the Discord a little bit (If you aren't in the Discord yet I recommend joining!) And I finally decided that I was going to do one!

For those of you who might not know what a Nuzlocke is, here are the rules:

1. You can only catch the first Pokemon you come across in an area and no others. So for example if I walk into route 201 and come across a Bidoof I can choose to catch it or not. But if am still on route 201 and I come across a Starly, I cannot catch the Starly.

2. If a Pokemon's HP drops to 0, it is dead. You can't revive, heal, or take it to a Pokemon center. You must either release it or put it in your PC.

3. You must nickname each Pokemon to grow more attached to them.

4. If you black out even if you have Pokemon in your PC it is considering a game over.

5. The shiny clause is an optional rule that I will be using. If Arceus decides to bless you with a shiny Pokemon in the run, you can catch it. Even if you've already came across or caught another Pokemon on that route.

I will be starting the run off soon so please vote to decide what Pokemon I start with! From there I will regularly update this thread until I either black out or beat the game!

I chose Turtwig! I wish you luck! I haven’t had much luck doing Nuzlockes in the past haha.

Got to chose Piplup.
Have yet to do discord.
So you will just need to grind WAY to much to win.

Man,so many people doing game runs.
I think I'll do Kirby next.

Oooh what Kirby game? I've only played the games on the SNES.

I have actually never played any SNES Kirby games.
But I played super star ultra, nightmare in dreamland, return to dreamland,
There might be more though.
Well like I was saying I played none of the SNES Kirby games.
(Minus dream course)
Are they any good?
Also I finally got to the point of grinding in Earthbound.
So I might try to play other games.
(But mark my words, I am gonna beat Earthbound.)

Alright so the poll ended in a complete tie! So I left it up to a random number generator and I got Turtwig! I will start the nuzlocke soon. Hopefully tonight but I might be playing Harvest Moon all night so it depends if I have time to start it!

Thank you! I'll probably need all the luck I can get. And I wonder if there are any challenges in Earthbound similar to the self imposed nature of a nuzlocke. I might look into that because I find these challenge to be fun even though I'm usually bad at them!

I don't need any challenges. Earthbound is hard enough
also i don't think there is any challenges.
