What is your class/job

Not in real life!!!
but in a RPG way.
I would be a red mage, but with some slight changes.
1. I would not have an as cool outfit.
2. I could not use weapons.
3. i could use both magics easily, but prefer to use healing magic.

In a lot of games I play, I'm a support. Not like a healer but more of a tank. For example in Smite I play as support so it is my job to take damage so that my teamates have a better chance of surviving and doing more damage. It's pretty much my job to die so that my teammates survive. It's a thankless job and a lot of supports get hate, but I still like it.

I feel you,
Most of the time I'm a healer, or just a meat shied.
Like In D and D I'm a cleric.(tanky white mage)
But, even though no one wants to be a white mage, you can't make a team without one.
I don't mind being one.
Like take this example,
Teammate 1: "Oh no, this goblin king is too powerful I'm close to dearh.
Oshi: " Don't worry as I stand in the back and cast many healing spells on you.
T1 " Oh yeah, I'm back"
Oshi" Now take this, SPAM DEBUFFS"
Oshi proceeds to get two shotted.
Hard life.
Oh yeah, here is the dorky red mage I would be.

Oh yeah, I want to rant on one thing.
In books and TV, you see how hard or how banned it is to bring the dead back to life,
And the many items you need for it,
And when it does, it's just a skeletron.
In videogames,
NPC:"Oh no, this ancient master has been dead for four years, how will learn the power of the ancients."
Oshi: " hold on,let me just use some level five white magic."
NPC : "don't you need to do an equivalent exchange!" ( anyone know the reference?)
Oshi: "yeah, I just need to use some MP"
Going off of final fantasy
I'm pretty sure in D and D it is level 3 white magic.

I've played D&D before but I never really got into it. But I totally understand. For me it makes me feel good knowing that I am pretty much essential to any team, even if people don't realize it.

It does feel nice when you know if you leave the party for a bit,
That They are gonna die without you.
Or does that make me a bad person?
