Hello, I thought I'd share a poem I wrote last year.

----
Hunting

Drinking boba
is a search and destroy mission

I pretend to be
an alien mothership
sucking up humans
for sustenance

The chewy boba is innards
The popping boba are heads

Sometimes the ice
shrouds the last survivors
and I see it as the humans
have taken to hiding in caves

A successful mission is complete
when all the boba has been located

The last slurp is satisfying-
an accomplishment
but also grisly-
ending up in my stomach

Woah woah wow woah.
Poetry goes right over my head, but it takes a lot of skill to make one.

[Thoughts for April]

May your heartbeat be as steady as dawn & dusk
May you eat well enough to not be a husk

May your career not be a pain in the rear
May you have a mind as sharp as a spear

May your heart be wise
May you be strong for your size

of a blank page

its immaculate emptiness
pregnant with possibility.
