Hello all. We have some unfortunate news that we need to share with you all. We have recently become aware of the fact that Gryphaena passed away late last month.
As you may know, she has been on the Adoptables for a couple of years now. She was also an active member on the Discord and here on the forums in recent months. I am sure there are some of us that interacted with her quite often, and some of us not so much, but she was a beloved part of our community here on Poliwager. She always was saying hello to new members, and striking up friendly conversation with everyone. We do not know the specifics of her passing, nor do we wish to speculate, according to the post made on the GPX+ Forums. Also according to the post on GPX+, she was a member who showed great care and concern regarding mental health issues and of users seeking professional help. If you are reflecting on the time we spent with her as part of the community here at Poliwager and want to show support, we do suggest that you consider donating to a charity, such as the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. She also was a big fan of Omastar, so we will be dedicating a shiny hunt for Omanyte in August in her memory.
Please remember to seek professional help if you feel that you are in need of it. There are also various free resources as well:

Please keep in mind that now is not the time for speculation or any inappropriate comments. She was a very loving member of the community here and elsewhere, so please give the same appreciation here.
Gryphaena, we love you very much and you will be missed. Our thoughts are with her family and friends during this time.

It is such horrible news to see that we have lost an amazing star in our lives. Even though I did not interact with her much when I did she was always very kind and caring. I will be attempting to get a shiny Omanyte to name them after her. We will miss you Gryphaena, may your soul rest in peace.

I was devastated when I heard the news. Gryph was always so friendly and loved asking questions and getting the most out of the Adoptables. In her short time back on the site she managed to snag a bunch of records across different stats, and I found that very commendable. I pray for her family and friends during this hard time.

Oh dang. That is pretty bad. Grayph was one of the few people who I have friended. I like to look on the bright side of things, I hope everything becomes good soon. I don't really do good in these situations, but it is important to remember the memory.

Very unfortunate news... it's too bad I wasn't here to see her in the past month. Rest in peace, she will be remembered
