If you failed it on a Ycom raid then it’s meh. If you failed it in one of your own dens then rip. Remember to save before a raid battle just in case it’s shiny because you can rebattle it if you reload your game.
At least if you have the DLC, you can give any Pokémon that can Gmax (except Melmetal) the Gmax factor with max soup.

yep. Melmetal is only possible to gmax connecting pokemon go to pokemon home and sending a pokemon to pokemon home from pokemon go.

TL:DR Gmax Melmetal can only be obtained as a gift from Home.

In other news, I’m at 3,422 random encounters and still no shiny in SwSh. I have 500 battled in all Pokémon in the area except Indeedee, and me and Slix have determined that with 500 battled and shiny charm, it should be a 1/512 odds for a shiny (unless the official Pokémon website is wrong), so I’m about 6.6 times over odds right now. Either that or I missed a shiny. So I’m kinda bummed out at the moment.

Some times that is how Luck would be. You find a shiny in less then 10 attempts, or you never find one. That's the fun of it. I think.

@Oshi But you don’t know the odds for a shiny on Poliwager. It could be 1/4096 for all we know. Even if it’s like 1/512, Poliwager has a VERY low encounter rate.

Do you know how many you’ve hatched?
