Mystery Dungeon-ish Roleplay

I say, "hello, where are we? I can't remember anything all of sudden I'm falling from the sky and fall to the ground!"

Sheriff Nirmel looks down at Maltathdar, then says "Huh, y'don't remember a thing? And you claim you fell from the sky? You must be very exhausted. C'mon, I'll get ya two a place to stay."

He starts making his way back at town, but turns around and tells Maltathdar and Voi, "Are ya comin' or not?"

"sure." I reply, "I don't know what to do."

"Good, y'don't want to get lost!"
He turns his head just to notice that you are floating above the ground.

"Are ya floating?" He replies.
"Well, that only makes folk like you more unique."


Soon, you and Voi arrive in a small town. Other Pokemon are minding their own business and don't seem to notice you.
"This is it, Poliwag Springs. Population 137, established 1889. We got a set o' rules here.
1- No stealin'
2- No cheatin'
3- No destroyin' property unless its yours
4- No harassing others
got that? Well, I better show you to the Inn."

You're walking down a dirt road and you pass by several buildings. Weird, there's an old abandoned circus and a building that's been completely sealed off.

"Oh those rules sound easy. No way I can mess that up! Nope!

But, Hey Matty? (Talking to mew) do you know what's going on? If we both don't know. That could be bad. I just have a bad feeling about it.

Hmm, but I do wonder what has happened with those buildings? Too scary clowns? That does make me think...
Hey strong Mr. Metal bird, do you mind saying what happened?"

Nirmel looks down at Voi and says, "Oh, the people just didn't like it. They kept sayin' the place was a bad omen and that the performers kept giving the townspeople curses if they didn't enjoy their act! So we ended up shutting the place down... I wonder sometimes about where they be at now?"

Soon, that little boy again comes out, points at Voi and Mat that they are aliens. Everyone just shrugs it off, and you can hear somebody in the crowd say "Visitors! That's nice." So, a bunch of sales people come by!

"Hello, would you like to try sweetpuffs?"

"Oh quit your yappin'!" Luckily, they had mr sheriff bird to chase away the salespeople. They all went away in disappointment.

"So... what's on your mind? Ya' hungry? Need a nap? Oh, if you want to see this place yourself, you can have this."

*He hands both of you a map of the town.*

"Wow! There are so many cool things here!! A blacksmith? Wow! Even a bakery!! Wait, mayor office? Thank you Mr sheriff!
Anyways, if I know anything, (which I think I do) I think our best bet is going to the tavern. You coming Matty?"

Voia starts to walk off in the direction that he is pretty sure is the tavern.

I then say, "You are holding the map upside down!" Matty sounds familiar?!

"Hey! Did I help you remember something? I must be pretty useful to you then. We should stick together so then you can help me remember something!"

Voia then looks at the map again

"Wait, you sure it is upside down? I was just getting a feeling that this is the right way."

After a bit of wandering, the group makes it to the tavern

You arrive at the tavern, it's called "The Lazy Druddigon" Hm. sounds fun...

You walk inside and see lots of people. You hear from the crowd "Heh, looks like new faces."
