First I apologize if this is not the right spot but I wish to ask a couple of questions...
1) How do people get shinies? Is it random? I ask because I see a lot of shinies as I click and there does seem to be a good number of them.
2) How does one obtain that Big Political Egg? I have seen it on occasions so is it a real egg or just reserved for staff or what?
Thank You

Some of this is in the FAQ page, but I'll answer here too.
1. Shiny Pokémon can be found any time you adopt any egg. There are no "shiny locks" put on any Pokémon, meaning you have a chance of getting a shiny every time you hatch an egg! Some events, including Community Weekend and Shiny Hunt events have increased odds of finding certain shiny Pokémon.
2. Big Political is available to anyone who is able to find the egg! Look around the site, perhaps there is a way to find them!

Thanks. So basically Shinies are random occurrences. Got it.
I guess I will have to keep trying to find the elusive Political egg then.
I appreciate the answers.
