I am a fan of the first exploration of the Pokémon TV series, the first six movies, and some specials/shorts.
Ash, Misty, and Brock are my trio.
10 years young and off exploring the world with a backpack full of clean undies, a belt of pokeballs and never really having to earn money. Oh how I would thrive in such a world.
Ash
because having Pokémon choose him [aside from some Charmelion-Charizard issues later on], regretting his trade for Raticate, and wanting to catch them all is the type of trainer I want to emulate.
I caught them, they chose me, we battled together, they evolved to win a battle not because I forced a stone upon them, they lend warmth in a snowstorm.
Misty
Never forget or forgive theft, no matter the reason.
Leave a toxic family.
If you must be loud to be heard, BE LOUDER!
Explore the lakes and the seas, there may be friends far below the surface.
Brock
Step up and be the gym leader the previous one would not.
Be there for those you love.
Question why you travel with trainers when you wanna be a breader.
Prepare meals for your Pokémon first, your human companions second, and yourself last.
A mixture seasoned and spiced is my dream.

Aside from Shiny variants and or "above average" stats I probably will adopt out duplicates.
I will aim to get male and female of all applicable Pokémon.
