Everyone knows that April is the month we appreciate Dunsparce (and Dudunsparce, too). Happy Dunsparce Appreciation Month! This was just a fun April Fool's Joke! We hope you enjoyed this bit of fun this year! Big Political AI was not a real AI model, and the messages it gave were hand-crafted (besides a fun couple that were using phrases from the Easy Chat System from the Pokémon games), and no AI was used to make this little website! The Big Political website is going to remain up if you want to check it out if you missed the announcement. Thanks for checking it out, I had a lot of fun making it!

Next up, we have some BIG, exciting news for you all. As you might know, Big Political is a fan favorite Novelty Pokémon here on Poliwager. Well, we've made a brand new feature of the site, called Big Political AI! What is Big Political AI, you might be asking? It's a big, new artificial intelligence system filled with heaps of knowledge from Poliwager! Simply ask it a question, whatever might be nagging at your conscience, and it will give you an amazing piece of knowledge in return! Give it a try!

Poliwager Forums is turning 16 years old this April 10th, 2025! Celebrate that day with an Event Ticket for Birthday Poliwag, as well as a 5x multiplier! Let us know your favorite Poliwager Forums memories in the replies!

Easter this year is April 20! To celebrate this year, Easter Happiny will be available to adopt on the Adopt page from April 18 - April 20!

Another thing happening this April is Earth Day! Earth Day is celebrated on April 22 every year to help encourage people to care about the Earth we live on! To celebrate this year, we will have a 2.2x multiplier and Earth Azurill will be available to adopt on the Adopt page!


Now, to get onto the rest of this month's event: This month's event will be a Funfest Mission event! To participate, join the current Funfest Mission and help complete the mission to earn Pass Orbs during the month. Once the mission is completed, all users that joined will receive 1 Pass Orb from April 1-19, and 2 Pass Orbs from April 20-30. To receive a prize egg at the end of the month, you will need to obtain at least 20 Pass Orbs, and a bonus prize will be given to users who obtain at least 30 Pass Orbs as well. Good luck, and remember to work together!

Community Weekend is a weekend each month aimed towards gathering as a community here on Poliwager Forums, with various bonuses on Poliwager Adoptables. This month's Community Weekend will be from April 25-27! This month's Community Weekend Bonus-type is Bug-type! More of the Bonus-type eggs will appear on Poliwager Adoptables during the weekend and Exp. bonuses will apply to any Bonus-types that you interact with or post here on Poliwager Forums. Add your Bonus-types to your party and signature here and adopt some new ones during Community Weekend!

Community Weekend Details:
  • Community Weekend goes from Friday at 12:00 AM until Sunday at 11:59 PM.
  • More details can be found on the Events page during the Community Weekend.
  • A bonus Pokémon type is chosen for the weekend.
  • Extra 50% Experience from Interactions for the bonus Pokémon type.
  • Extra 50% Experience from Views for the bonus Pokémon type if shared on Poliwager Forums.
  • Extra 50% Experience while Pokémon Camping for the bonus Pokémon type.
  • More of the bonus Pokémon type to adopt.
  • A higher chance of hatching a Shiny bonus Pokémon type.
  • A multiplier on Poliwager Adoptables to help you hatch even more eggs and raise your Pokémon faster.
  • A few random Bonus-type Pokémon are viewable on the Events page to help them level up. Refresh to see more.
  • Image Bronze Community Weekend Interactions Medal - Bonus type Pokémon that get more than 15 Interactions during the weekend
  • Image Silver Community Weekend Interactions Medal - Bonus type Pokémon that get more than 30 Interactions during the weekend
  • Image Gold Community Weekend Interactons Medal - Bonus type Pokémon that get more than 50 Interactions during the weekend
  • Image Bronze Community Weekend Views Medal - Bonus type Pokémon that get more than 15 Views during the weekend
  • Image Silver Community Weekend Views Medal - Bonus type Pokémon that get more than 30 Views during the weekend
  • Image Gold Community Weekend Views Medal - Bonus type Pokémon that get more than 50 Views during the weekend
  • Pokémon and their eligible Medals can be found on the Pokémon Stats page during the Community Weekend.

My favourite bug type is Genesect. It’s because it’s also steel type. Man I love steel types. Who doesn’t love steel types? They are the best!
