It's Poliwager's 17th anniversary! Slix has done such an amazing job over the past 17 years operating Poliwager, and the site's birthday is happening on November 27th! I encourage you to reply to this thread with some of your favorite memories of the site so we can all remember the fun times we have had together so far! Thank you all so much for being here, and for helping encourage Slix to continue making the best site he can for you all. The mod team who help with so much around the site also thanks you for all the feedback that has helped shape the site into what it is today, and thank you for reading this post!
Let's start things off with this month's special events appearing throughout the month:
We will be celebrating Día de los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead, on November 1st and 2nd! There will be an outbreak of Duskull to celebrate!
On November 27th, Poliwager's birthday, there will be an Event Ticket for Rayquaza to celebrate! Be sure to redeem your Event Ticket on the Events page to be able to adopt it for yourself! On November 27th, enjoy a 5x multiplier as well!
Additionally, enjoy a 2.5x multiplier to celebrate PoisonIvey1998's birthday on November 30th, as well as an outbreak for Squirtle!
This month's event will be a Parcel Raising event! To participate, you'll need to buy the Parcel Key Item from the Poké Mart. After you've adopted and hatched any Pokémon of your choosing during the month of July, you can go to its Stats page to attach the Parcel to it. Your Parcel Pokémon will appear at the top of your Profile page for everyone to see. You can see the fellow Parcel holders by going to the Site Stats for Pokémon page.
In order to receive a prize egg at the end of the month, your Parcel Pokémon needs to reach Level 15. In order to receive bonus prize eggs, please read the following:
- The Pokémon must be at least Level 15 to participate, and adopted during the month. You may attach the Parcel to your Pokémon beginning at Level 1, but it will only count at the end of the month if it reached at least Level 15.
- Pokémon that are Lv. 50 or higher.
- Pokémon in the Rare, Legendary, Novelty, or Ultra Beast rarity.
- Pokémon with maximum Happiness.
- Pokémon with more than 150 Views.
- Pokémon that are Shiny.
- Pokémon with more than 100 total IVs.
- Pokémon that Camped 10 or more times.
- Pokémon that Battled 5 or more times.
- Pokémon that are evolved.
Community Weekend is a weekend each month aimed towards gathering as a community here on Poliwager Forums, with various bonuses on Poliwager Adoptables. This month's Community Weekend will be from November 14-16! This month's Community Weekend Bonus-type is Water-type! More of the Bonus-type eggs will appear on Poliwager Adoptables during the weekend and Exp. bonuses will apply to any Bonus-types that you interact with or post here on Poliwager Forums. Add your Bonus-types to your party and signature here and adopt some new ones during Community Weekend!

My moderator anniversary was back in June (I don't think I ever posted about it) and my moderator promotion anniversary was in September as well. Being with the site for almost a whole 8 years, on top of moderating for almost 5 and a half years just feels absolutely surreal. Slix has worked so hard this year trying to improve the site and come up with ideas for future updates, and I really hope y'all are as excited for those as I am!
