Pokemon
The Legendary Pokemon trio Raikou, Entei, and Suicine were offered in a special character distribution event at participating GameStop stores. All three are shiny and also know moves they cannot normally learn. Raikou comes with Weather Ball, Entei knows Flare Blitz, and Suicine has Sheer Cold. All three can also learn ExtremeSpeed. They come in Cherish Balls and appear with a Classic Ribbon.
When you transfer them to your copy of Pokemon Black Version or Pokemon White Version (coming out on 3/11) you'll get a chance to catch the elusive Pokemon Zoroark. All four Pokemon will appear in the upcoming Pokemon movie, Pokemon- Zoroark: Master of Illusions.
You'll only be able to get each of these Pokemon once per game and you have to bring either Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, or SoulSilver version and your DS.
Raikou-January 3rd- Januray 9th
Entei- January 17th- January 23rd
Suicune- January 31st- February 6th
You must have acquired the Pokedex within your game and you must have no more than two Wonder Cards in your possession.
You merely have to walk into GameStop, select Mystery Gift, Recieve Gift, Get Via Wireless, and then the Legend will appear. You can recieve it from the delivery man waiting in any Poke Mart (you do need an open slot in your party). Don't forget to save!
An interesting note is that while this was completely free in the United State, Canadian players were forced to pary $50.99 to recieve the Pokemon. The reason being that EBGames (which held the event and is owned by GameStop) required that players reserve a copy of Black or White and pay for the game in advance (as in right there at the counter) to get the Pokemon.
Superbowl
The Superbowl is just around the corner. This year the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers are clashing in Superbowl XLV. This year it will be held in the giant Cowboys Stadium. It seats 80,000 people and is home to the largest HD TV screen in the world! Though some sissys looks forward to the halftime show and the commercials, the real action is the game itself.
Why Steelers will win- The steelers is all around a flawless team. They have one of the most powerful defense and a mind blowing offense. The most amazing player is Troy Palamalu. Two years ago, when the Steelers went to the Super Bowl, Palamalu intercepted the final pass before halftime in the Cardinal's end zone and returned it for a touchdown. On the offense, Ben Roethlesberger also know as Big Ben, rips those passes down field. Good luck sacking him Green Bay.
Why Packers will win- Although the Packers have a few weaknesses, they got the great weapons needed to bring the trophy back to Titletown. Brett Who? is right. Rodgers has thrown with amazing accuracy. He also can run when there are no options and easily pick up 10+ yards. The Pack has also got a great defensive line, perfect for giving Roethelesberger a hard time throwing down field.

Yes
The average student loses 3 months of information every summer. Something that is devastating towards our world competition. The benefits of going year round greatly outweigh the negatives. For example, the days will be more spread out. This means that instead of months of daily school, there will more short breaks. Children will still get the 180 days a year, it's just that there won't be a long boring summer. Another reason is that schools are often wasted during the summer. They are not utilized and just money and property. Though it may not seem sound, it is easier to travel on vacations. People will not be always jamming vacations in the summer so travel will be divided among the year.
No
Year round is unnecessary and eliminates many opportunities. It rids the American tradition of relaxing in the summer by the beach. It also eliminates kid's opportunities to be..well...kids. Youth programs and camps are eliminated because the breaks aren't as long so it would be unprofitable. Though schooling would be more efficient, loss of innocence and hands on experience is gone. Kids would no longer experience and would just be homework doing robots. Activities that are learned during the summer including swimming, fishing, canoeing, camping are gone. These are activities that keep kid's minds healthy. For the scholarly students, they can no longer attend summer classes to get ahead and miss out on education summer camps. For the less academic student, they miss an opportunities to catch up the rest of the pack. Also, no more summer jobs, meaning kids will be less experienced when they grow up. Summer is a time of life lessons, if summer is gone, these essential experiences and memories needed to contribute to a healthy adult are gone.
Tips
We have just finished the most exausting thing a teen must face twice a year, Exams. Yes those times of reviewing the notes, rereading that stupid English book over and over again and most of all: playing the what-if game with our grades. Well, that atrocious time is finally over, we finally get to sit down and watch Stargate and sleep! One of the nicest things about the new semester is that we recieve a fresh new start. Yeah, that C you got in Chemistry because you didn't do the summer reading assignment from August, Gone! But it's easy to fall into the same rut, here is some tips that keeps me alive through the semester.
To Do List- Yeah we all start it at the beginning but no one continues it after two weeks. But not only are these list very helpful, but also because they also organized and productive. It doesn't just have to be homework, chores and activites also can be orgainezed. Knowing things you need to do keeps you on track.
Untilize Spare Time- Don't be one of those kids that just sit there once their done with their classwork. Just don't. Teachers often give time at the end of class to complete assignments. Complete them then.
Keep Your Study Location Clean and Welcoming- A good study envioronment will keep you studying and calm. Place calming items like candles, wall calendars, fish tanks, and bamboo with pebbles.
Prioritize- Having a buttload of homework, the last thing you should do is do electronics. Instead, offer it as a reward. For example, finishing English homeworks equals 15 minutes on Poliwager. Carefull though to not extend reward times!
