So I am currently sending out letters and I wanted to see who has all had a pen pal?! I know it’s a pretty common things for elementary kids to have pen pals and I absolutely adored it! Receiving mail is one of the best surprises and I wish it was still as common? Who here loves mail and wishes they got more of it?!

I never had a pen pal sadly but I love getting mail when it actually relates to me. One of my friends is away at boot camp and he sends letters sometimes which is cool but I also like when I buy something offline and it comes with a hand written letter!

I love getting mail because it just has that old-timey feel to it! I never had a pen pal but every once in a while I write letters/cards to people from church if they give me something for like a holiday/birthday and right now since I graduated high school as well.

I usually only get mail that's like "You have a dentist appointment coming up!" so I don't like mail a lot really, but I have sent a few letters in the past, and those are always fun because they take time and care to make and send out.

Bills and things are never fun letters to get. I have just gotten 7 letters and my heart literally like exploded reading them all and I am going to miss all of the friends that wrote them. I am excited to send them their letters and to have pen pals.

Letters are my favorite thing ever! I check my mail every day at college and i get super excited whenever I get mail (although most of the time its an advertisement from the college or something) Although my one friend's mom sent me (and her other friends) marshmallow snowman in the mail one time and it made my week

Awe I am glad my college does not really use their mail in that way

I would never check my mail if that were the case. That sounds super cute. My grandma sends/sent the rest of my family mail a lot, but because one time she wrote the address for my college wrong she won't send anything and I barely get any mail unless I order something online.

I am hoping it changes this year though I have some new friends from afar that love letters.

That's awesome! I'm trying to convince my friends to write letters to each other this year (we say we're going to at the beginning of every semester and never do) we'll see
