America's Indepence Day is coming up, the 4th of July!

Are you guys doing anything for the holiday? What about other countries? Tell us here!

This year I'm going to be working in the morning, and then going to see the fireworks with my family and some friends. Pretty typical for us, but I like doing it anyway! :)

Better late than never and a topic is a topic :D I basically did the same thing, when I was little though my family made a bigger deal of it we'd go to the five minute down town parade, have steaks and the typical Old Navy Fourth of July shirts, drive downtown by the marina park our butts on a blanket and then take an ice cream break and walk to Dairy Queen right before the fireworks and probably hit each other with glow stick "swords"

That sounds fun! I usually would go to a friend's house and set off fire works. This year we just went to a small town firework thing. But last year a big group of my friends (like 15) and I decided to go downtown for fireworks which was cool except we all had to park separate places and walk and had serious trouble finding each other. When we finally found everyone we were in a random parking lot and decided to have a makeshift cookout there between some cars  it was an adventure to say the least.

(Bumping this topic, too!)

It's been a few years since I've gone to see 4th of July fireworks, but last year one of my best friends had a 4th of July pool party going on at his house and his mom texted me a couple nights before asking if I was interested in going! I went over and it was so much fun and at the age of 20 at the time I finally learned how to somewhat swim! I came back a little sunburnt, but at least I put on a ton of sunscreen so it wasn't that bad and I have aloe vera gel in my refrigerator so I have something to take care of the burns and other skin ailments! I don't have any plans for this upcoming 4th of July, though! What about you guys?
