Happy October everyone! This month is something exciting! We're going to be doing a few new things, and a few old things! To start, there is now a new weekly feature on Poliwager Adoptables, the Bug Catching Contest! How this works is simple! Every Tuesday through Saturday there will be a new Bug Catching Contest, and the page outlines what the requirements are for each contest! To enter, all you need to do is hatch a new Bug-type Pokémon with the requirements and place it in your Party Pokémon before Saturday night. If you do, you'll receive a few items and maybe even a special Bug-type Pokémon as a prize! In addition, the Pokémon that you enter that wins the contest also receives a special Medal! Finally, this month, if you enter and win at least 3 of the 4 Bug Catching Contests (not including the one starting on October 30th, since it ends in November), you'll also receive a Genesect egg at the end of the month! Let's catch some Bugs together!
Onto the second part of the October Event! Since the Bug Catching Contest only occurs part of the week, there will also be a Shiny Hunt for Mimikyu, a Pokémon that comes out more around Halloween! In order to win another prize egg at the end of the month, adopt and hatch a Shiny Mimikyu before October 31st! The prize egg for the Shiny Hunt will be announced soon. Weekends will be multipliers for interactions and views as well, so be sure to hop online during those times to hatch lots of eggs!
Finally, a few more smaller, but still exciting events this month!
- On October 19th and October 24th there will be Birthday Poliwag available to adopt to celebrate my birthday and my sister evergreenn's birthday! Be sure to come online those days to find a birthday surprise of your own, and there will be multipliers for interactions and views those days too!
- From October 28th to October 31st there will be the mysterious Ghosts available to adopt as well! Get yours before they disappear!
- On October 31st there will be an Event Ticket for Halloween Spiritomb as well as a multiplier to help you hatch eggs on the last day of the month! Be sure to redeem your ticket before the day ends to put the egg in the Adopt page for you to find!
