Welcome to my birthday month! October is a big month on Poliwager Adoptables! Let's dive right into what's happening this month.
Shiny Hunt! 
First up this month, we have a Shiny Hunt! In order to receive a prize egg at the end of the month, hatch a Shiny Shuppet during the month! If you successfully hatch one this month, you'll not only receive a prize egg, but you will also receive a Banettite, which will let you evolve a Banette into Mega Banette! Weekends will be multipliers to help with hatching eggs, but don't forget to post here on Poliwager Forums with your egg image codes in your signature to help too!
Which leads us to our next part of the month...
Last month we did the very first Community Weekend, a weekend aimed towards gathering as a community here on Poliwager Forums, with various bonuses on Poliwager Adoptables. This month's Community Weekend will be from October 18-20th! This month the Bonus Pokémon type will be Rock-types! More Rock-type eggs will appear on Poliwager Adoptables during the weekend and Exp. bonuses will apply to any Rock-types that you interact with or post here on Poliwager Forums! Please read the original post for more details on what fun this weekend brings!
Something new this month for Community Day: Any Pokémon that is the Bonus Pokémon Type that is hatched during the weekend that gets certain amounts of Views will receive a new Medal, a Community Weekend Medal!
Bronze Community Weekend Medal - Rock-types hatched during the weekend that get more than 25 Views
Silver Community Weekend Medal - Rock-types hatched during the weekend that get more than 50 Views
Gold Community Weekend Medal - Rock-types hatched during the weekend that get more than 100 Views
There are some other fun things happening as well later on in the month!
- On October 19th and October 24th there will be Birthday Poliwag available to adopt to celebrate my birthday and my sister evergreenn's birthday! Be sure to come online those days to find a birthday surprise of your own, and there will be multipliers for interactions and views those days too!
- From October 28th to October 31st there will be the mysterious Ghosts available to adopt as well! Get yours before they disappear!
- On October 31st there will be an Event Ticket for Halloween Spiritomb as well as a multiplier to help you hatch eggs on the last day of the month! Be sure to redeem your ticket before the day ends to put the egg in the Adopt page for you to find!
Another thing coming back this month, to keep up with the hype of the upcoming Pokémon Sword and Shield: Referral prizes! Tell a friend about Poliwager Forums, have them post in this topic saying that you referred them here, and you both will receive a small bonus prize on Poliwager Adoptables!
