December 2019 Event + Community Weekend

Update #1: Due to New Year's celebrations and only a few people getting more than 100 Snowballs so far, the Snowball collecting event will be extended until 11:59 of January 10th, 2020. Keep collecting, and aim for 100 to get a prize egg!

Update #2: The prize eggs have been given out to the users with more than 100 Snowballs! Kyurem was given to anyone with more than 100, and anyone with more than 200 additionally got a Winter Tangela. Enjoy!

Happy Holidays everyone! Whether you celebrate Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, or nothing at all, those of us from Poliwager wish you a happy, safe, fun, and joyful season!

This month will be a Snowball Collecting event! To participate, collect Snowballs by interacting with Pokémon and eggs and adopting eggs! If you collect more than 100 during the month, you will receive a prize Pokémon egg! Also, every additional 100 Snowballs that you collect will get you a special prize, so aim to collect a lot! You can see how many you currently have by going to your Profile page.

December Community Weekend!

Community Weekend is a weekend each month aimed towards gathering as a community here on Poliwager Forums, with various bonuses on Poliwager Adoptables. This month's Community Weekend will be from December 20-22nd! This month the Bonus Pokémon type will be Ice-types! More Ice-type eggs will appear on Poliwager Adoptables during the weekend and Exp. bonuses will apply to any Ice-types that you interact with or post here on Poliwager Forums. Add your Ice-types to your party and signature here and adopt some new ones during the weekend!

Some changes to Community Weekend from previous months!
- Any Pokémon is eligible for Medals so long as they receive the correct amount of views during the weekend: old or newly hatched Bonus type Pokémon.
- There will be a snippet on the Events page that explains Community Weekend and any Pokémon of yours that are currently eligible for Medals before the weekend is complete.

Community Weekend Details:

Say hi and stay a while, and chat about the new Sword and Shield games! Let's aim to each meet a new friend here during this month's Community Weekend!

From December 24th until December 26th, you will be able to find Christmas Tropius on the Adopt page, so get them before they disappear for the season!

In addition to that, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Eve will all be multipliers to help your eggs hatch faster!

I was hoping for an ice type community weekend! My favorite ice type and favorite Pokemon in general is Snorunt (speaking of Snorunt, I love that gif!) and I also like Froslass, Glalie, and Weavile! Also good luck in the event everyone!

Unrelated note, Its my birthday in a week.So Hazzah to that.
My favorite ice type is vanillite.
edit 3 days later :I been having horrible luck with the snowballs so far.

I Have interacted over 2000 times today.
Got 20 snowballs.

Nice! I'm still only at 4 snowballs. But that's usually what happens with these kinds of events. I tend to fall behind until I spend a day or two interacting with all the Pokemon I can to get enough to complete the event. This month I might try to earn some more though!

edit. Got 50.From my premium calculations, I want to say there is about a 1% chance for snowballs for me.

i've already made it past 100!.

also if you get your reward does the amount of snowballs stay the same or do you lose them when you claim the prize?. unless they already disappear by the end of the event?.

I did the number game yesterday guess 42 and got it correct.
Then today I guess 8 and got it again.
What are the chances for that, and right close to my birthday.

The prizes are given out at the end of the month, depending on your total at that time.
