The blazed glazed Nuzlocke

I like feeling sad. I am bad at Pokemon.
Connection?

Well Blazed Glazed is a remake basically.
Here is the rules I will follow.
1. Same rules.
2. Shinys yes.
3. I actually want to complete the game, so I will treat Pokemon centers as save points.
4. If I need a specific move, I will catch said Pokemon, but never use him.

I never did a (easily mispronounce word) before, so I am ready.
Name ideas here, and making fun of my losses here.

My first bud is going to be Ness. Because he is the best and I just finished my Earthbound post and I do not feel like thinking right now.

Well, my starter was a girl, so her name is now Paula.
During my first time in the wild, I did my rival battle. He got double critical hits and I lost. So, next try, I manage to get some Pokeballs before I met a wild Pokemon. I was thinking of all the cool ones in could of got. I got a rat.
Then I went into the swamp and caught a little seed. Now its grind time.

Well, I got through the swamp.
Just a bit of poison is all.
At the end was a nice free exp guy. He only used defence up and speed down moves.
I went into an alternate reality and caught a mudkip. He is actually pretty good. Then a girl asked me if I wanted her large rock she found. I said yes and got an Onix.
The first gym is an electric gym, so that helps.
I know in the next town or two I can get Jirachi, so I that will help.

Oh cool, a nuzlocke. I couldn't really do a nuzlocke myself because I just can't let go of my pokemon. Also good luck!

I caught me a Dragonair It took a lot of Pokeballs, but I did it.
I forgot to name it, so I had to release it. ):
I beat the first gym. Apparently, they changed it so now I have to have rock climb to get Jirachi. I get that after fifth gym, so I have to wait until then. This game is harder. I might need to change the rules up a bit.

First off
1. Ghastsly died.
2. I decided rare Pokemon can't die. Not including legendaries.
Okay, While in was grinding, just look at the photo.
Can anyone guess what the name is a reference to?
