Novarius’ Pokémon Diamond Nuzlocke

Hey I plan to do a Pokémon Diamond Nuzlocke soon. I’ll be posting occasional updates.

ALSO, when I catch a new Pokémon, you’ll have a chance to nickname it. Might do first come first served since the forums is pretty inactive/slow, unless a bunch of people are on, then we will do a poll.

First we are gonna need a name for my rival.
I’m gonna let you guys pick out a name.

Rival name has been decided.
Rival will be named Oshi.

Starter has been decided
1 vote Turtwig
2 vote Chimchar
3 vote Piplup

Piplup will be my starter.
Everyone start suggesting names.

Ohh a nuzlocks! I tried one way back then and got a bit under halfway done with it when I decided to quit. Maybe you're have better luck then me! Side note I can't really think of any real good names at the moment hehe.

In other news, Piplup will be name Gunther after some cartoon character or something.

Nuzlocke has started

I have picked my starter and Piplup is a Girl! Whoo
Anyways, named it Gunter, as requested.

Went to Lake Verity and found myself a lovely female Starly.
By popular demand, she has been named Deathclaw.

Posts automatically merged.

Update

Caught myself a Sinnohan Emolga on Route 1.
It’s gonna be very useful when it’s evolved.

Also found a little red chirpy boy on Route 2.
Named the bugger Sir Rious.

Gonna do a little bit of team grinding before I continue.
Imagine if I find a shiny.

Update

Trained my team up well
Got the town map, TM Hidden Power, Pokétch, Quick Claw, and Old Rod
Went back to Twinleaf town and caught myself a BigMagical.
Caught myself a Budew named PosionIvey on route 204.
Currently exploring route while training my team.

Update

Caught a Zubat in Ravaged Path. Fascinating that they named the area after him.
Beat Oshi. Super easy fight.
Sir Rious evolved!
Caught Electrize on 203.

My team is now
Gunter the Piplup Lv.10 F
Deathclaw the Starly Lv.11 F
Sir Rious the Krickitune Lv.10 M
Emolga the Sinnohan Emolga Lv.9 M
PoisonIvey the Budew Lv.7 F
Electrize the Shinx Lv.4 M

Nice, by the way, are you doing regular nuzlocke or some other form of it (like the dreaded hardcore nuzlocke?)

Nah just a regular Nuzlocke
You can only catch the first Pokémon per area (unless it’s a dupe or roaming legendary)
When a Pokémon faints, it can no longer be used in the challenge.
Shiny clause allows you to by pass the first rule so you can catch it.

Update

Went through Oreburgh Gate and caught my a Geodude named Boogaloo
Found some items in Oreburgh
Met a guy that told me about different-colored Pokémon

Caught a Machop named Choppera on route 207
Caught another Machop and traded it for Hilary’s Abra named Kazza. (Collection purposes. Not eligible for the Nuzlocke).
Years later I found an Onix. Named her Sedimentra.
On my way to fight the first gym.
