Happy Pokémon Day 2022!

Hello! It's February, which means we are fast approaching Pokémon Day, on February 27th, to celebrate the 26th anniversary of the first Pokémon games! We hope you are enjoying the new Pokémon Legends: Arceus game! Let's get into this month's events.

First up, Oshi is helping host a design contest, featuring Emolga! Check out the topic here for more details.

This month's event will be a Parcel event! To participate, you'll need to buy a Parcel Key Item from the Poké Mart. After you've adopted and hatched any Pokémon of your choosing during the month of February, you can go to its Stats page to attach the Parcel to it. Your Parcel Pokémon will appear at the top of your Profile page for everyone to see. You can see the fellow Parcel holders by going to the Site Stats for Pokémon page.

In order to receive a prize egg at the end of the month, your Parcel Pokémon needs to reach Level 15 and have at least 50 interactions. The following may have some effect on the prize you receive.

• The Pokémon must be at least Level 15 to participate. You may attach the Parcel to your Pokémon beginning at Level 1, but it will only count at the end of the month if it reached at least Level 15. Any level beyond that might influence the prize as well.
• The Pokémon must have at least 50 interactions to participate.
• The Pokémon must be adopted after 12:00 am February 1st, 2022 (according to its Adopted date on its Level Up page).
• The amount of views the Pokémon has might have some influence on your prize. Add your Pokémon to your signature here to help get some views!
• How many times the Pokémon has evolved might have some influence on your prize.
• The Pokémon's total IVs might have some influence on your prize.
• The Pokémon's rarity might have some influence on your prize.
• The happiness of the Pokémon might have some influence on your prize.
• Whether the Pokémon is shiny might have some influence on your prize.
• How many times the Pokémon has gone camping may have some influence on your prize.

On February 14th, Valentines Squirtle will be available to adopt from the Adopt page! Be sure to adopt one before they disappear again.


Pokémon Day 2022!


February 27th is Pokémon Day! For the 7 days leading up to it, starting on February 21st, and ending on February 27th, special edition Novelty Pikachu with the different partner caps will be available as Event Tickets! Be sure to redeem your tickets every day during that week so you can adopt your 7 special Pikachu!

February Community Weekend!


Community Weekend is a weekend each month aimed towards gathering as a community here on Poliwager Forums, with various bonuses on Poliwager Adoptables. This month's Community Weekend will be from February 18-20! This month's Community Weekend Bonus-type is Dragon-type! More of the Bonus-type eggs will appear on Poliwager Adoptables during the weekend and Exp. bonuses will apply to any Bonus-types that you interact with or post here on Poliwager Forums. Add your Bonus-types to your party and signature here and adopt some new ones during Community Weekend!

Community Weekend Details:

• Community Weekend goes from Friday at 12:00 AM until Sunday at 11:59 PM.

• A bonus Pokémon type is chosen for the weekend.
• Extra 50% Experience from Interactions for the bonus Pokémon type.
• Extra 50% Experience from Views for the bonus Pokémon type if shared on Poliwager Forums.
• Extra 50% Experience while Pokémon Camping for the bonus Pokémon type.
• More of the bonus Pokémon type to adopt.
• A higher chance of hatching a Shiny bonus Pokémon type.
• A multiplier on Poliwager Adoptables to help you hatch even more eggs and raise your Pokémon faster.
• A few random Bonus-type Pokémon are viewable on the Events page to help them level up. Refresh to see more.
• Bronze Community Weekend Interactions Medal - Bonus type Pokémon that get more than 10 Interactions during the weekend
• Silver Community Weekend Interactions Medal - Bonus type Pokémon that get more than 20 Interactions during the weekend
• Gold Community Weekend Interactons Medal - Bonus type Pokémon that get more than 30 Interactions during the weekend
• Bronze Community Weekend Views Medal - Bonus type Pokémon that get more than 15 Views during the weekend
• Silver Community Weekend Views Medal - Bonus type Pokémon that get more than 30 Views during the weekend
• Gold Community Weekend Views Medal - Bonus type Pokémon that get more than 50 Views during the weekend
• Pokémon and their eligible Medals can be found on the Pokémon Stats page during the Community Weekend.

My favorite Dragon type is Holydramon wait no it's Magma Dragoon Altaria! I'll also have to participate in Oshi's cool contest!

My favorite Dragon types are Dialga and Palkia, Bagon, Altaria, Flygon, Deino, and Drampa! As usual I can't pick just one.

Might enter Oshi's contest, but I wasn't around when Can't Emolga started so we'll see if I can draw something that fits

Hey all, something that I forgot to mention, is Mewtwo's birthday, according to the journal entries found in the Pokémon Mansion on Cinnabar Island, is February 6! To celebrate, tomorrow will be a 2.06x multiplier and there will be an Event Ticket for Mewtwo! Be sure to go to the Events page to redeem yours before the day is over!

Also, here are the requirements to get additional prizes for the Parcel event this month:

- A Pokémon with more than 50 total interactions and Lv. 15+ will award one prize egg.

Working toward each of these achievements will award a bonus prize as well, for a maximum of 5 additional prize eggs, and possibly more bonus prizes:

- Pokémon that are Lv. 50 or higher.
- Pokémon in the Rare, Legendary, or Novelty rarity.
- Pokémon with maximum Happiness.
- Pokémon with more than 150 Views.
- Pokémon that are Shiny.
- Pokémon with more than 100 total IVs.
- Pokémon that Camped 10 or more times.
- Pokémon that Battled 5 or more times.
- Pokémon that are evolved.
