Prologue In a time long ago, Humans and Pokemon existed in harmony. They would help each other with anything they needed and could be very great friends. However, this time of harmony would not last forever...
An evil Warlock named Malamar believed that Pokemon were far more superior than Humans, and thought that they should be separated forever. He also had this crazed idea that Pokemon needed to become "stronger", and should turn into rabid and horrible monsters. Everyone detested his ideas, and no one would join his army he attempted to create. Not even the criminals and other vile villains would want to work with him. So, he was left to figure out some other way to make his awful plan come true.
Malamar heard of a legend, speaking of a wicked beast from another realm, that would bring destruction upon the land if it were to be released. In order for it to be released if you were crazy enough, the user would need to have the most ill of intent and would need to find various artifacts scattered across the land.
Once the warlock was able to get everything prepared, he used a very powerful spell to open a tear in reality and opened a portal through the realms. But something came out that put quite the shock on him.
"I am Eternatus." The creature spoke with a loud, rumbling voice. "Thank you for freeing me from my cage. What may I do for you in return?"
Malamar was shaken, but he felt... inspiration.
"I am the great Warlock Malamar! Listen to me and make my deepest desires come true!"
Malamar told the creature about all of his terrible plans and ideas. Eternatus promised that he could make it come true, but Malamar would have to give his body up for it. Of course, Malamar decided to take the deal. Malamar was no more...?
Eternatus let out a great roar that was heard by all, and shot a beam of energy into the sky. The sky turned a deep, violet red, and a darkness swept the land. Many Pokemon that were out in the forest became savage, wicked beasts and attacked any unfortunate Human they could see. All of the turned Pokemon had scarlet red eyes and lost the ability to speak, some even exponentially growing in size and morphed in shape. Luckily, all of the Pokemon who were in the towns and cities did not get twisted, as they were protected by a magic barrier.
Because these cities were protected and were the major source of non-turned Pokemon and Humans, they were made into major targets. Most of the towns and cities were destroyed, with the capital being the last target. The King, Queen, and the last of the population were in grave danger. Everyone went to the temples and begged for help, and they got it. There were some individuals, both Human and Pokemon, who were blessed and given a great power. These new heroes now known as "Legendaries" were then sent to take out Eternatus before it was too late.
They battled hordes of the giants and twisted Pokemon, and finally reached Eternatus. They were all greeted by the monstrous creature, "Are you supposed to be the ones who stop me? I would like to see you try!" It then shot a beam of the evil magic, but the Legendaries were able to block it off with a magic barrier they created. Eternatus had underestimated them by a lot, and was surprised that they were able to block it off. "WHAT!? How did you mortals- Ohohohoho! Tougher opponents? This will entertain me!"
The Legends fought as hard as they could against Eternatus; it was the battle of the century. The energy from the fight could clearly be seen from anywhere across the land.
The Legendaries nearly used all of their power, and Eternatus was still not dead.
"Foolish mortals! There is nothing more powerful than Eternatus, for I am ETERNAL!"
As a last resort, the Legendaries combined all of their remaining power into a single attack, striking Eternatus' core. It exploded into a large, bright burst of energy that let out a shock wave that swept across the land. Finally, Eternatus was dead, and the land was saved!
All of the Pokemon were free from the wicked magic of Eternatus, and reverted back to their regular forms. The sky cleared up, and the darkness was washed away. Everyone rejoiced! The biggest festival ever was held in the capital and lasted for five days. There was lots of delicious food, fun games and contests, music concerts, etc. But the Kingdom everyone lived in was pretty much destroyed. So, after the festival finished, everyone went to work into building a new and fair society. The land was renamed to "Poliwager", named after the leader of the Legendaries.
After 4 years, Poliwager was peaceful once again. Everyone waited for their heroes to return, but they never came back. No one knew what happened to them, but everyone speculated that they died from the battle with Eternatus. A memorial ceremony was held for each and every one of them.
The new King heard a voice speak to him, it mentioned something about them being sealed away in magic orbs until the time was right again? Wanting to find them, the King sent out many people to look for the mysterious orbs, but they always turned empty handed. He heard the same voice again tell him that their heroes will only be brought back in the time of need. People still looked for these orbs for a short time. One year later everyone believed that the orbs were fake, and the story got the reputation of an old fairy tale, myth, and legend. Everyone gave up and stopped looking for them.

You are floating around in an open area, with what looks like the cosmos. You see a vague figure of what looks like a deer approach you, and you can clearly see that it has very colorful, branching antlers.
"Thank you for saving our land, hero. Everyone is rejoicing in your name. Do not be scared, I mean you no harm. You will be kept safe and sound, and you will awaken when you are needed again. But for now, you must rest. You will need to build your power again, as you will need it later."
You close your eyes, and fall asleep, not knowing when you will wake up.

A bulky man who wore a hat and his friend, Machop, were running from a horde of angry and dangerous Pokemon. "I don't get why you want to hurt us! We never did anything to you!" Blurted the man trying to reason with the attackers.
"They're not listening to us! We need to focus less on talking and more on running!" Replied Machop.
Luckily, the two spotted a cave they could hide in. They rushed in and took shelter, hoping not to run into any zubats.
"Gee, that was a close one!" The two huffed and puffed, and sat down on the cold, rocky cave floor. They continued inward into the cave, trying to keep it so that their pursuers would not find them. They found a huge open area, littered by crystals everywhere, and a shallow pool of crystal-clear water. There were a few carbinks, geodudes, and sableye that were in the cave, but they had no intentions of hurting the visitors. "Check this place out! It's amazing!" The two stood there, amazed by their findings. They checked their map, which also charted where caves were in the area, but the one they were standing in wasn't marked on there. "Machop! We're the first to discover this place! What an amazing find!"
In the middle of the pool, they saw what looked like a few floating orbs, each of different sizes and colors, with them also emanating soft glows. They were even more intrigued, and went in to get a closer look. Machop wanted to grab them and take them home, but the man protested that idea. Hey... I wouldn't do that if I were you, Machop. Despite the man's warning, Machop still wanted to get a hold of them. He grabbed them, and they lost their glows and color.
"What happened? Why did they stop glowing?" Questioned Machop. "Phew! At least they didn't hurt you! Wait... do you think this might have hurt the cave...? Oh, and what about those crazy Pokemon?" Replied the man. "What do you mean it hurt the cave? I'm sure these things would still be worth a lot! And we can just wait for the crazies to go away, right?"
Suddenly, the orbs they were holding started cracking. The cracks let out a bright, glowing light of the same color they used to let out. Being startled, Machop dropped them. They didn't know what they did wrong, and were confused on what was happening to their treasure. The nearby Pokemon came over to them curiously. They seemed excited too? "What's happening?" "I don't know! Don't ask me." "Shhh! stand back and watch!"
The orbs finally cracked open, and they glowed their same, colorful, bright light. The light then scattered together, and formed figures of what looks like different people and creatures. The Pokemon who lived in the cave bowed down to them, Machop was confused, and the man was freaked out.
Welcome to Poliwager and the Legend of the Mysterious Orbs! You play as yourself, who has awoken from a centuries'-worth slumber after defeating Eterantus. However, you do not remember much, just that you saved the world from a horrible monster and that you were stuck in a magic orb for a long time. Even though the land was at peace and Eternatus was destroyed, something is happening again. Pokemon are becoming violent, and people and Pokemon alike are being attacked once more! You will work with your friends to figure out what is going on, learn secrets, and hopefully put a stop to this once again! But... you are stuck in a less powerful form of yourself. If you want to find the other half of yourself and your power, you will have to find another magical orb!
