A Bored Blaziken Plays Mega Man ZX Advent

Welcome, welcome everyone to my horrible, no good, very stinky game play of ZX Advent

So I spent my past couple of summer breaks completing MMZ, which I...uh....enjoyed a bit too much (Oshi and Icefox/ArctictheGlaceon can testify to this). Recently I also finished ZX, but did I make any game play threads for those? No I didn't, too bad. But whatever, this will have to do. I will warn you, though, as there will be major, major major super duper ultra spoilers and may get confusing [but I'll also be vague because I'm nice], so in that case I would recommend you play these games yourself or maybe reading a wiki thing idk. However, these games are annoyingly frustrating so uh...


[left]Alright now that that's outta the way here's some things to note before my game play:
[list]*I might not be able to update this entire thing very often especially since my schedule and mind is inconsistent and end of the school year work-loading. Not like anyone's gonna make a huge deal out of this, especially over a mostly obscure game from 2007. I might also post more on weekends or after I get back from school (about after 3:30)
*I may make quite a few inside jokes
*Since there's two characters, I will be playing as the girl character so some details in my gameplay may be different from other ones. Again, I don't see anyone finding that problematic. Maybe if you're one of those "No yOu'Re SuPpOsEd To pLaY iT A cErTaIn WaY oR yOu ShOuLdN't pLaY At aLl" people it is but this is Poliwager. You guys are chill. I change my mind Ashely is scary
*I will probably die a lot because, once again, they like to make these games frustrating but I feel accomplished for doing it and I wanna see what happens so that won't stop me mwaahahahahaha.[/list][/left]

Alright it has commenced

okay so I played for a bit

-There's like 4 different factions, which I don't mind because it gives me more to think about. In fact, give me more. Come on I wanna see the New Republic of the Descendents of Greater Italy (NRDGI) or the Kids in Skeleton Costumes Hopping Around on Pogo Sticks (KSCHAPS). Actually don't that might get messy but it isn't going to stop me from questioning.
-The gal sounds alright but otherwise the voice actors in my head do much better with all the other guys, may have to get a patch for the voice lines (Please let there be something that removes them). The voice lines are mainly in the cutscenes but there is voice acting elsewhere (i.e doing actions).
-Speaking of the gal, the gal sounds very, very similar to Leela from Futurama. Maybe my mind is messing with me, especially since she has the ponytail.
-The gal looks and sounds in her 20s but they keep calling her kid. Maybe it's just the thing they do???? I mean, she was a new recruit for some organization or something maybe it's just looter/mercenary lingo idk.
-The gal wants to be remembered in the future because she is afraid of being forgotten because she doesn't even know who she is at all (sounds like a personal problem to me. Quite possibly may end up being a narcissist. This will be interesting to think about in a psychological perspective.)
-Every time the gal jumps, she sounds like me with my tendinitis trying to dead lift a car. You could have done a "hf!" sound, but nooooo -> perhaps someone didn't give her a proper Mechanicus treatment and the titanium hits a nerve in her leg. Poor gal but that doesn't seem to limit her at all.

Additional comments:
-The Blaziken appears to be spying on me behind the screen as I would play. I wonder if this will psychologically affect my gameplay.

Also I believe I have found the source of the problem: heels.
Pros: Stylish and if you can actually run and fight in them then you are impressive
Cons: Not very easy to run around in. I mean, somehow she's running great in them (must have an excellent sense of balance) but when she jumps and lands...from my experience it's very, very uncomfortable.

But again if Jade from Mortal Kombat can fight in much thinner heels Ashe (yes that is her name, gotta add the e to differentiate her and the annoying kid from Pokemon or the drag queen from Streets of Rage) can manage it with slightly more stable heels...but will have cramps for a very long time

Okay so I have two additional screenshots with names

Kachow has found a voice line patch. Unfortunately it doesn't get rid of the voices but fortunately it at least replaces them with the other ones I really, really hope the other voice actors do a better job but most of all I hope they don't make Ashe sound like a 3 year old and her jumping disease gets fixed, at least. I didn't get too far so if I have to restart it won't be a real problem. May try playing tonight.

Ah yes, of course the file has to be a very specific one from who knows where, does it....

Okay I think I'm gonna try a progamer move and just rename the game file even though it might just end up acting wonky since it isn't the exact thing. If not, I'm gonna look into the alternate but that also changes terms and stuff and I don't wanna get confused, but it might work.
