Ok..at one point I gave one of my pokemon a parcel but I cannot remember whom I gave it too. Is there a way to find out what pokemon has it?

You can see which Pokémon has the Parcel by going to either your public profile or the My Pokémon page. It should be the first (or second, if you have a Pokéwalker Pokémon) in the list of your Pokémon. Alternatively, you can select any Pokémon you want to give your Parcel to and upon attempting to give it, it will tell you if you already gave it to another Pokémon.

Ok..thank you for the help. I tried your suggestion of selecting a pokemon and attempting to attach the parcel and found that the parcel had been removed upon the last parcel event. So I'm good, I think

Yup. After each Parcel event the Parcel will be removed from the Pokémon.
